## Description

NVM for Windows is a Windows-specific Node.js version manager maintained by Author Software Inc. Created by Corey Butler, the open-source project entered a new phase with version 2, while its Community Edition remains free under the MIT license for individuals and organizations. The tool helps developers install, switch between, and pin Node.js versions from the command line, including automatically installing a requested version when it is missing.
