## Description

NW is an energy technology group founded in 2018 and described as a French and Finnish leader in battery energy storage systems. The company designs, develops, finances, installs and operates solutions for energy production, storage, grid injection and withdrawal, and electric vehicle charging. Its systems connect digital technology with wider electrical and digital networks, supporting grid resilience and flexibility and the integration of low-carbon energy.

NW offers solutions for both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter use. Its JBox is a distributed battery storage system, while the TIEBox provides electricity storage for commercial buildings and small industries. For charging, IECharge is a high-power charging station, OhmBox combines intelligent electric vehicle charging with storage, and TIECharge provides rapid-charging stations. NW also develops project expertise, technology and market operations.

The group says its patented technology and economic approach enable it to operate without relying on subsidies. It operates in France, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Texas, Japan, Germany and Poland, and reports operating 2 GWh of battery capacity.
