## Description

The Northwest Abortion Access Fund is a nonprofit abortion fund serving people in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. Its mission is to help people access abortion care by addressing some of the financial and practical barriers involved. Trained, compassionate volunteer advocates staff the organization’s toll-free helpline, where callers can seek support and information about getting help.

The fund provides financial assistance for abortion care by sending funding directly to clinics. It also helps people arrange transportation to and from appointments and find a safe place to stay when they need to travel for care. These services are intended to support people through the logistics of accessing care, including those who must go beyond their local area.

The organization offers online resources to help people find clinics, locate assistance, and learn facts about abortion. People can also explore ways to get involved through volunteering, fundraising, jobs, and partnerships, or sign up for the mailing list.
