## Description

Northwest Youth Corps offers a challenging education and job-training experience that empowers youth and young adults from diverse backgrounds. Since 1984, they have been providing opportunities for learning, growth, and success. Their programs prioritize education, challenge, community, leadership, and empowerment. Participants can expect epic outdoor experiences in some of the most wild and scenic places on Earth. Northwest Youth Corps offers residential conservation crews for both youth and young adults, local community crews, community wildfire protection crews, an internship program for college-aged participants, and a fully accredited high school. With a focus on gaining fundamental job skills, experience, and work ethic, their programs are designed to help individuals reach their career goals. By partnering with land management agencies and non-profits, Northwest Youth Corps completes high priority conservation projects to improve the lands and communities they serve. Their programs not only benefit the participants themselves but also have a positive impact on the planet. Whether you're a teenager looking for a summer work experience or a recent college grad needing specific certifications, Northwest Youth Corps can help you reach your goals.
