## Description

New Yorkers for Parks is a leading independent citywide research and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting quality parks and open spaces for all residents of New York. With a mission to improve and enhance the green spaces that make our city thrive, they champion the cause of preserving and expanding parks for the benefit of all New Yorkers. Through their comprehensive data and research initiatives, New Yorkers for Parks provides valuable insights and recommendations for policymakers and community leaders. They offer a range of services, including the Daffodil Project, which distributes hundreds of thousands of daffodil bulbs to beautify public spaces. New Yorkers for Parks also engages in advocacy efforts, urging elected officials to allocate 1% of the city's budget to parks funding. They collaborate with various stakeholders, such as the Alliance for Public Space Leadership, to ensure the equitable distribution of resources and opportunities for all neighborhoods. By signing their petition and supporting their annual benefit, you can join the movement to protect and enhance New York's treasured parks. Stay informed about their initiatives and campaigns by subscribing to their email newsletter. Together, we can create a greener, more vibrant city for everyone.
