## Description

About Face is an innovative brand at the forefront of privacy protection in the age of facial recognition technology. Founded by NYU technologist Adam Harvey, the brand specializes in developing anti-surveillance makeup designed to render faces unidentifiable to facial recognition software. As the use of such technology expands—from law enforcement applications to potential civilian use—About Face offers a creative alternative for individuals concerned about privacy.

The makeup is based on thorough research into the algorithms behind facial recognition, utilizing specific patterns and dark blocks of color that disrupt the software's ability to detect human features. Unlike typical concealment methods, such as ski masks, About Face’s solution offers a more subtle yet effective approach, allowing users to maintain their individuality while evading surveillance. With a bold, cutting-edge aesthetic akin to futuristic designs, About Face invites users to embrace a unique form of self-expression while protecting their privacy.
