## Description

The NY Architectural & Interior Design Awards is an international design competition celebrating projects that shape the built environment and influence how people live, work, and connect. It recognizes architects, interior designers, studios, developers, students, and emerging talents across architecture, interior design, urban planning, landscape design, lighting, furniture, and conceptual work. Its categories span residential, commercial, cultural, and institutional projects, as well as experimental concepts, future spaces, student designs, unbuilt work, and historical preservation and renovation.

Entries are assessed through blind judging by an international panel of design professionals, academics, and industry leaders. Judging considers design excellence, innovation, functionality, sustainability, and impact. Winners receive international recognition and opportunities to increase project visibility through award announcements, winner galleries, and promotional campaigns. The award also highlights benefits such as professional credibility, portfolio prestige, business development, and a lasting place in an international archive of design achievements. The Ava Statuette serves as the competition’s symbol of achievement.
