The New York City Regional Innovation Node (NYCRIN) is a dynamic network of over 25 leading universities in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, and Pennsylvania area. NYCRIN is dedicated to meeting regional needs for innovation education, infrastructure, and research. They achieve this through their cutting-edge training programs for academic researchers and technologists, offered in collaboration with the National Science Foundation I-Corps program.

NYCRIN aims to build, utilize, and sustain a national innovation ecosystem that promotes the development of technologies, products, and processes that benefit society. Their vision is to provide state-of-the-art innovation research and training services by connecting regional academic technologists with entrepreneurial and business partners. NYCRIN's mission revolves around three key aims: teaching the NSF I-Corps program, developing a regional infrastructure for innovation research and commercial development activities, and gathering and analyzing assessment data to optimize the national innovation ecosystem.
