## Description

The New Zealand China Trade Association (NZCTA) is a bilateral business council dedicated to strengthening trade and business links between New Zealand and China. Established in 1981, it brings together New Zealand exporters, Chinese companies operating in New Zealand, importers, investors, entrepreneurs and service providers. Its mission is to promote and build on the success of the trade and investment relationship between the two countries.

NZCTA supports its members through events, networking, business insights and initiatives that encourage meaningful cross-border partnerships. It works to keep the trade community informed, highlight market opportunities and challenges, celebrate member and market achievements, and support the next generation of business leaders. The association also shares news and analysis on topics affecting New Zealand–China commerce, including exports, clean technology and immigration reforms.

Businesses and professionals can join NZCTA to access its network, events and insights. The association also organises the NZCTA China Business Awards, recognising outstanding performance, innovation and collaboration in the bilateral business relationship.
