Since its establishment in 2020 by founder Deborah Manning, NZFN has distributed an average of 600 tonnes of food per month, equivalent to over 1.7 million meal equivalents. The primary funding partner of NZFN is the Ministry of Social Development, and the brand proudly collaborates with Aotearoa Food Rescue Alliance, Kore Hiakai Zero Hunger Collective, and other partners to build the capacity and capability of food banks, food rescue, and community food services, preventing further shocks to food security in New Zealand. With a dedicated team and board members, NZFN is committed to excellence and values flexibility, collaboration, growth, and effort in all that they do.
