Welcome to the New Zealand National Refugee Association (NZNRA), a refugee-background led association dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of refugee background communities. Our mission is to facilitate full and direct participation in civil society and decision-making processes at both national and international levels. 

As a refugee-run organization, we focus on community development, refugee advocacy, lobbying, and networking. We believe in the power of grassroots movements and work closely with independent refugee organizations to ensure that the voices of refugees are heard.

At NZNRA, we understand that "nothing about us, without us" is a powerful mantra. We strive to create a society where the needs, aspirations, and rights of refugees are recognized and respected.
