## Description

OpenAustralia Foundation is a pioneering charity that aims to transform democracy in Australia. Their vision is to give all Australians the tools they need to effect the change they want. Through their projects, they create technologies that encourage and enable people to participate directly in the political process at local, community, and national levels. OpenAustralia Foundation operates websites such as theyvoteforyou.org.au, RightToKnow.org.au, OpenAustralia.org, and PlanningAlerts.org.au. These platforms are designed to make government, public sector, and political information freely and easily accessible to all Australians. By promoting transparency, OpenAustralia Foundation aims to inform and empower individuals, bridging the gap between the government and the people who elect it. As a strictly non-partisan organization, OpenAustralia Foundation passionately works towards reinvigorating Australia's civic culture by utilizing powerful new technologies. They also support initiatives such as the Uluru Statement from the Heart for justice, recognition, and respect for First Nations people.
