About

Description

Oahu SPCA, located in Wahiawa, HI, is dedicated to the well-being and rescue of animals in need. Founded in April 2009 with a no-kill philosophy, their mission is to ensure that Every healthy treatable animal will find a forever home. They have a remarkable track record, having completed the largest rescue operation in Hawaii's history within their first three months.

Thanks to the support of over 2,000 volunteers and generous donors, Oahu SPCA has been able to save over 1,400 animals in their first year alone. They strive to make sure that most of the funds they receive go directly into the care and treatment of their rescued animals. Their ultimate goal is to gather 200 sponsors, covering the monthly expenses for every dog and cat in their shelter.

Their work involves rescuing animals from abuse, neglect, and abandonment across the island of Oahu. They rehabilitate and re-home over 15 dogs and cats each week, providing essential services such as spay/neuter, microchipping, and medical and behavioral rehabilitation to prepare them for adoption. Join Oahu SPCA's rescue team and together, you can make a difference by saving the lives of thousands of animals each year and improving the lives of people in our community.
