## Description

Oaklands is a Hertfordshire education and community organisation managing 400 acres and offering far more than traditional college study. Through Oaklands College, it provides more than 300 vocational and academic courses for learners of different ages, including A Levels, T Levels, adult education, apprenticeships, higher-level study and provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities. Courses span subjects such as business, construction, computing, health and social care, creative arts, sport and animal management.

Oaklands also supports employers and organisations with apprenticeships, skills bootcamps, employability programmes, business training and other tailored services. Its Oaklands Wolves sports academy combines coaching with academic study and offers programmes across a range of sports, including athletics, basketball, football, rugby and equestrian disciplines.

Community facilities and services include a working farm and zoo at the St Albans campus, an equestrian centre, sports facilities, the Oasis Salon, The Stables Restaurant and venue hire for events. With campuses in St Albans, Welwyn Garden City and Borehamwood, Oaklands connects education, sport, workplace skills and local community experiences.
