## Description

Oando Energy Resources is an exploration and production business focused on developing oil and gas opportunities in Africa, with a strong presence in Nigeria. Its portfolio includes interests in onshore and offshore producing assets across the Niger Delta basin and the continental shelf. The company seeks to grow production and reserves by optimizing existing fields and acquiring assets, including opportunities created as international oil companies divest onshore operations. It also aims to participate in government bid rounds and pursue near-term production assets across Africa.

Oando Energy Resources identifies its vision as becoming the leading indigenous exploration and production player on the African continent. Its reported December 2023 independent reserves evaluation lists 996.8 million barrels of oil equivalent in proved plus probable reserves and 173.6 million barrels of oil equivalent in best-estimate contingent resources. Net average production for fiscal year 2024 was reported at 23,937 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The brand also highlights commitments to community empowerment through education, and to protecting people and the environment.
