Ohio Association of Student Leaders

The Ohio Association of Student Leaders (OASL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Ohio's middle and high school students to make positive change in their schools and communities. With over 70 years of experience, OASL offers a range of high-impact educational experiences tailored to meet the developmental needs of youth leaders. Throughout the year, OASL hosts various leadership programs, including their signature Summer Workshop.

This 5-day, 4-night program provides both middle and high school students with a unique summer camp experience on a university or college campus. Participants engage in experiential learning sessions, personal reflection opportunities, and fun activities, fostering lifelong friendships and valuable skills. In addition to the Summer Workshop, OASL offers weekend retreats focused on specific leadership themes, one-day programs featuring fun challenges and workshops, and the annual OASL State Conference, where students and advisors gather for a 3-day program of leadership development and business meetings.

OASL's curriculum emphasizes personal and group development, covering topics such as diversity, self-esteem, collaboration, and community-building.
