## Description

Oberlausitzer Angler e.V. is a fishing club based in Bautzen, Germany, bringing together people who share a passion for angling and care for local waters. Founded in 2002, the association welcomes both young people and adults, from beginners to experienced anglers, and promotes community, respect for nature, and responsible stewardship.

The club’s home fishing ground is the Bautzen Reservoir, which offers varied angling opportunities. Members also manage a section of the Great Spree, designated D 01-205, under an assignment from the Elbflorenz Dresden Angling Association. Their responsibilities include caring for the river section and carrying out fish-stocking work.

Oberlausitzer Angler e.V. supports an active club life through shared fishing days, events, scheduled work sessions, and member information. Its website provides a calendar, a photo gallery, details about the association and its waters, and links to angling organizations, equipment resources, and regional partners. Interested anglers can contact the club in Bautzen to learn about joining and taking part in its activities.
