## Description

The Observatoire québécois de recherche sur la collaboration (OQRC) is a Québec-based research observatory focused on strengthening collaborative practices across institutions, industries and sectors. It works with partners in a broad ecosystem of stakeholders, approaches and project-delivery models, using collaborative research-action and intervention to support interactive knowledge-building. Its work aims to equip key actors, recognize the value of co-created knowledge, help organizations address the adoption of collaboration as a workplace culture, and encourage the shift toward integrated collaborative practices.

The OQRC offers practical resources to help teams assess and develop their collaboration. These include nine indicators for evaluating collaborative processes in project workshops, competency frameworks to guide skill development, a self-assessment of a team’s collaborative maturity, and a question-and-answer guide. The observatory also shares research publications and information about research funding and partnerships. Through events such as its Archipel collaboratif series, it brings together researchers, public-sector managers, industry participants and other practitioners to explore collaboration in areas including public procurement, health, infrastructure and international projects.
