## Description

Ocean Alchemists LLC is a team of scientists developing formulation technologies to support marine life and coral reef conservation. Working with research groups around the world, the organization created what it describes as the world’s first coral ointment. Its CoralCure Ointment Base2B is supplied to dive strike teams and is designed to be combined with active ingredients and applied directly to coral tissue affected by Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease (SCTLD). The organization reports that this treatment has achieved an over 85% success rate in Florida over the past few years, and that its ointment has been provided to more than 20 countries across the Caribbean. Ocean Alchemists has also developed a product with natural antibacterial ingredients for Black Band Disease and a micro-sized food intended to improve coral larvae settlement. Its future projects include formulations for injured sea turtles and potential solutions for coral bleaching and red tide. Ointment purchases are restricted to coral research teams. The organization welcomes collaborative product-development inquiries and offers refunds or replacements when needed.
