## Description

Ocean Avenue Skateboard Distribution is a Florida-based skateboarding distributor with roots dating to February 6, 1972. Founded by legendary Florida skater Bruce Walker and partners Lewis Graves and Ted James, the business began in Miami Beach as Fox Surf Shop, selling early clay-wheeled skateboards before the modern skateboard industry took shape. Today, Ocean Avenue serves retailers with wholesale skateboarding products, knowledgeable customer support, and practical assistance for shops. The company says it helps retailers save time by offering cost-effective shipping options and sourcing products for them, and it carries brands that may not be available through other distributors. Its listed brands include Girl, Chocolate, Toy Machine, Foundation, Blind, and Almost, among others. Retailers can apply online to open an account, then order through the online catalog using customer login details. Ocean Avenue also shares updates on Instagram and Facebook. The company continues the hands-on approach associated with its founder, supporting existing shops and those looking to establish dealer accounts. Its office is in Satellite Beach, Florida.
