## Description

Ocean Gold is an Indian offshore sailing brand built around the Ocean Gold Yacht Race, a passage from Mumbai to Goa across the Arabian Sea. Organised by the MG & G Area Sailing Club and governed by Yacht Racing India, the event is sanctioned by the Yachting Association of India and listed on its official 2027 calendar. Season II is scheduled for 3–10 January 2027, covering approximately 250 nautical miles under ORC racing rules.

The race brings together keelboats and Seabirds for an offshore challenge that emphasises seamanship, navigation, stamina and teamwork. Its programme extends beyond the passage, with registration and briefings in Mumbai, a Vijaydurg halt, racing and sailing events in Goa, and planned gatherings including a prizegiving dinner. The 2027 edition is expected to feature a larger fleet, expanded shore activities, spectator vessels and an international crew programme.

Ocean Gold also shares the story of its inaugural 2025 race through a recap film, photography and Ocean Gold: The Coffee Table Book.
