## Description

OceanPlastik is an impact startup that is dedicated to addressing the global issue of plastic waste in the ocean. Using decentralized and mobile technologies, they aim to clean up and recycle ocean plastic waste. The company has created an ecosystem that gives value to cleaned up plastic waste and encourages individuals with smartphones to participate in the cleanup process. Through their mobile app, called PTAGGER, users can tag, localize, collect, and drop off plastic waste, earning exchangeable crypto tokens as a reward. OceanPlastik's goal is to clean up and collect 57,000 tons of ocean plastic waste and reach 3.4 million active users within four years. They also collaborate with strategic partners to process non-recyclable plastic waste into fuel and electricity. By creating a realistic value proposition for recycled plastic, OceanPlastik aims to create awareness, educate people, and contribute to a circular economy.
