## Description

Ocean State Curling Club is Rhode Island’s only curling club, formed in April 2009 to bring the sport back to the state. Dedicated to the enjoyment, fellowship, and promotion of curling, the club welcomes people of all ages and skill levels, from newcomers to experienced curlers. Its mission includes teaching and developing the sport, encouraging curling’s spirit of sportsmanship and respect, and building youth and adult programs that can lead to local, national, and international competition.

The club offers Learn to Curl sessions where participants can practice throwing stones, sweeping, and skipping, along with seasonal league membership and opportunities to develop their skills in a friendly, social setting. It also hosts bonspiels and other club events, including the Ocean State Bonspiels and the Quahogspiel. Ocean State Curling Club is committed to creating an inclusive environment and making participation accessible to people of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
