## Description

Octagram is a consulting firm dedicated to helping insurers and MGAs (Managing General Agents) gain a competitive advantage in pricing through data and analytics. With a team of professionals boasting decades of experience, Octagram builds models that deliver a competitive edge. However, they understand that driving value from these models requires more than just mathematics. That's why they take a different approach, assisting clients in pricing profitably by identifying the best and worst risks. They achieve this by utilizing the latest data science techniques and innovative external data. Octagram also collaborates closely with underwriters to ensure a synergy between good underwriting and data analytics, resulting in exceptional outcomes. Additionally, they monitor and manage pricing models in production to ensure they meet expectations, while partnering with O'Neil Risk Consulting & Algorithmic Auditing (ORCAA) to monitor models for unintended bias. Meet the exceptional team behind Octagram, including founder and CEO Jessica Leong, who has a strong track record of impactful leadership in the field of actuarial science.
