## Description

Odette van der Molen is a Dutch actress, presenter, comedy writer and stand-up comedian whose work combines sharp observations, self-deprecating humor and playful takes on the generation gap. After graduating from the Maastricht Theatre Academy in 1992, she built a varied career across television, theatre and live performance. Her credits include writing and performing satirical sketches for VPRO’s Waskracht and AT5’s De Zwoele Stad, appearing in YORIN’s children’s programme At Cindy’s, and presenting the AVRO travel programme Lekker Weg. She also acted in the children’s programme Museumbende and the stage production Rintje Maakt Muziek, based on Sieb Posthuma’s books.

Odette performs stand-up comedy in Dutch and English, bringing energetic, relatable storytelling and characterizations to comedy clubs and events. In 2019, she won the audience prize at Utrecht’s Comedy Talent Award. She is available for sets from 15 minutes and creates customized comedy for private and professional occasions, including conferences, weddings, birthdays and ceremonies. Tailored performances are developed with clients and can include an original song.
