With a vision for a future where farmers thrive, local food nourishes communities, and agricultural practices protect the environment, OEFFA offers a wide range of products and services. At the heart of their offerings is their Annual Conference, a popular and inspiring gathering featuring nationally-recognized speakers, workshops, entertainment, and locally sourced meals.
OEFFA also hosts free public farm tours, workshops, webinars, and educational opportunities that provide unique insights into alternative production systems. As one of the oldest and most respected certification programs in the nation, OEFFA ensures that farmers and processors meet high organic standards through their Certification program. Beyond that, OEFFA's Begin Farming program provides aspiring and early career farmers with apprenticeships, workshops, mentoring, and networking opportunities. They advocate for sustainable agricultural policies and keep members informed through newsletters, policy bulletins, and social media updates. Members also benefit from OEFFA's Farmer Information Network, connecting individuals with experienced farmers, and their Good Earth Guide, which allows the public to find local and organic food and farm products.
