## Description

Ökumenischer Kirchentag (ÖKT) is an annual event that brings together people from different Christian denominations to promote unity. The 3rd ÖKT, held in Frankfurt in 2021, was unique in its concentrated, decentralized, and digital format. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, participants were able to connect, live out ecumenism, address important issues, and inspire change. The event aimed to encourage honest observation, trust, and collaborative action, emphasizing the importance of looking out for one another. The ÖKT Magazine provides an in-depth look at the event's preparation process, showcasing the highlights and offering a behind-the-scenes perspective. Additionally, the event featured simultaneous ecumenically-themed worship services organized by communities and parishes across Germany. The shared testimony provided an opportunity for participants to experience faith from different traditions and strengthen their collective witness. The ÖKT is a testament to the power of collaboration and inclusivity in fostering a stronger community.
