Østsjællands Museum is a recognized state museum that focuses on recent natural history, cultural history, and geology in the area known as Kalklandet. The museum consists of three locations: Geomuseum Faxe, Koldkrigsmuseum Stevnsfort, and Kulturmuseum Øst, with additional activities at Stevns Klint. As a state-recognized museum, Østsjællands Museum explores the cultural history and geology of modern times.
