## Description

Østrup Turridning offers guided horseback rides through the varied countryside of South Funen, Denmark, using Icelandic horses selected and trained over many years. The horses and routes are suited to both beginners and experienced riders, with opportunities for relaxed outings as well as more challenging rides.

Trips range from one-hour rides on weekly group outings to longer routes through forests, country lanes and the hilly landscapes of the South Funen Alps. Day trips include Islandskabsturen, which explores Svanninge Bakker, and Strandturen, which travels through woodland and open countryside to the beach near Faldsled. Weekend options combine shorter and full-day rides, with some itineraries offering gourmet touches or overnight stays for riders and horses. Multi-day journeys, including Riderejse Sydfyn, provide time to explore more of the region, while children’s riding camps are held during summer and autumn holidays. Østrup Turridning also arranges other riding experiences, including trips in Iceland. Gift cards, bookings and information about prices are available through the business.
