## Description

The Ohio History Connection is a vital nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Ohio. Founded in 1885, it operates over 50 museums and historic sites across the state, providing diverse educational programs and resources for individuals, educators, and families. The organization offers a wide array of exhibits, including the Ohio History Center and the immersive Ohio Village, where visitors can explore historic sites and artifacts.

In addition to its captivating exhibits, the Ohio History Connection promotes community engagement through educational initiatives, field trips, and virtual learning experiences that bridge the past with the present. It also houses the State Historic Preservation Office, actively working on preserving Ohio's architectural heritage and cultural landscapes.

By connecting communities with Ohio's unique stories—from the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to local history services—the Ohio History Connection drives meaningful exploration of the state's past, fostering a deeper understanding of its impact on the present and future.
