## Description

The Ohio Chapter of the Society of Pediatric Nurses (OSPN) has been a cornerstone in pediatric nursing since its establishment in 2005, building on the values of commitment, integrity, leadership, and excellence upheld by the national organization since 1990. OSPN strives to be the premier resource for nurses in Ohio who specialize in caring for children and their families, promoting excellence in clinical care, education, research, and advocacy.

Members benefit from a range of resources, including innovative educational events, networking opportunities, and access to scholarships and annual research grants aimed at enhancing pediatric nursing practices. OSPN regularly organizes events, such as general membership meetings and specialized conferences, many offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

The chapter also encourages community connection through its social media platforms, fostering a collaborative environment for sharing knowledge and experiences among pediatric nursing professionals. By joining OSPN, nurses not only enhance their skills but also contribute to the well-being of children and families across Ohio.
