## Description

Ohlininstitutet, founded in the spirit of Bertil Ohlin, operates within the Swedish liberal tradition, aiming to foster debate and knowledge on liberal ideas and policies. The institute organizes various activities, such as the Wibble Lectures and Ohlin Lectures, featuring prominent speakers who discuss pertinent topics related to liberalism, democracy, and current political challenges. They also host essay competitions to promote scholarly work on liberal issues, with recent winners tackling subjects like legal traditions and cultural perspectives.

In addition to lectures and competitions, Ohlininstitutet produces informative publications and maintains a digital presence through podcasts, such as the "Röd och Blå" series, which fosters dialogue between divergent ideological viewpoints. Their efforts are designed to contribute to a more nuanced and substantial public discourse, focusing on themes like individual freedom, community, and the impacts of populism. With a commitment to the ideals of liberalism, Ohlininstitutet remains a vital hub for scholarly engagement and political discussion in Sweden.
