## Description

Ohmter is a smart energy management service for Dutch homes, designed to help households plan electricity use around hourly day-ahead prices without changing their energy supplier, contract, or existing hardware. Its software brings information from compatible home devices together and aims to schedule energy use for lower-cost periods.

Available now, Ohmter reads solar production, self-use, and export from SolarEdge and Fronius inverters through their cloud services. It can also display battery charge levels and energy flows when reported by the inverter; these connections are read-only, and Ohmter does not control the inverter or battery. Live Dutch day-ahead prices, usage information, and weekly consumption reports help users understand their energy patterns.

EV charging plans based on a user’s departure time are in rollout, with charger connections dependent on manufacturers granting integrator access. Heating based on prices is planned, not currently available. Other integrations, including HomeWizard P1 and the Home Assistant bridge, are also in rollout.
