## Description

The Office of the Information Commissioner is the appeals body for Freedom of Information (FOI) in Ireland. Based in Dublin, our role is to review the decisions made by public bodies regarding FOI requests. Led by Information Commissioner Ger Deering, our team includes Senior Investigators Stephen Rafferty and Deirdre Gallagher. We also receive support from the Office of the Ombudsman for services such as human resource management and information technology support. Holding qualifications and certifications in law and mediation, Elaine brings her expertise to matters related to equal status and company legislation.
