## Description

Oslo Ishockeyklubb (OIK) is a local ice hockey club in Oslo that describes itself as an inclusive club focused on grassroots participation and its neighbourhood community. The club welcomes children and young people to learn skating and hockey, enjoy being active on the ice, and develop through team sport. Its skating and ice hockey school is open to boys and girls aged 4–10, with sessions on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m. throughout the winter season. Training takes place at Sonja Henie Ishall, by Frogner Stadium. OIK is also launching a new U8 team for tournament play in the 2025–2026 season, giving its youngest players an opportunity to learn fundamental skills and experience playing together. The club shares news and information about its activities, provides details on ice times, and invites people to become members. Prospective participants can contact the club by phone or email for information and registration. OIK also connects with its community through social media and its online shop.
