OJA Offene Jugendarbeit Zürich is a recognized organization that is dedicated to serving the youth of the city. With ten facilities situated throughout Zurich, OJA offers a range of services and activities for and with young people. They are committed to being present, engaged, and innovative in their approach.

One of their ongoing initiatives is Period Poverty Stop!, a pilot project aimed at providing better access to menstrual products for young women in the city. The annual report, released by OJA, showcases the diversity of their activities and projects carried out in 2022, with contributions from both young people and staff members. Additionally, they collaborate on projects like Money Chat, which provides quick and easy financial advice to those in need.

OJA also supports the creation of good places through their Soziokultur & Placemaking conference, along with operating Midnight-Sports at four different locations in Zurich. Rounding out their offerings, OJA rents out spaces for self-managed activities and organizes events to address social issues like sexual violence and discrimination.
