## Description

OK Doksy is an orienteering club based in Doksy, Czech Republic, bringing together people interested in this outdoor endurance sport. For around 25 years, the club has introduced participants to orienteering and helped develop successful competitors. It currently has about 40 members, organizes races, and takes part in a range of competitions.

Orienteering combines running with map-reading and independent decision-making. Competitors navigate unfamiliar terrain using a map, compass, and control descriptions, finding checkpoints in a set order and aiming to complete the course as quickly as possible. The sport takes place in settings such as forests and city parks, and encourages both physical fitness and navigational skills. The club also has a youth group that welcomes new participants, making it a place for young people to learn and take part.

OK Doksy’s website provides club news, information about training, sandstone areas, a permanent control course, and contact details and documents.
