## Description

The Okanagan Combat Guild (OCG) is a Kelowna-based school dedicated to Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA), with a focus on the swordsmanship taught in Renaissance European fencing traditions. Students train with weapons including the longsword, rapier, and dussack, developing skills through structured classes for different experience levels. The Guild’s regular sessions are open to beginners and experienced students and take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. Longsword is featured each evening, alongside dussack on Mondays and Thursdays and rapier on Wednesdays. OCG also offers a six-week beginner sword-fighting course, as well as workshops and learning resources. Its website provides class schedules, pricing, registration information, news, and articles about historical fencing systems and combat concepts. Classes are currently held at Kelowna Arts Academy, formerly Studio 9, at 1180 Houghton Road in Rutland. The Guild welcomes people interested in learning historical swordsmanship and provides a regular setting to study and practise these martial arts. For inquiries, it can be reached by phone or email.
