Open Knowledge Labs is a community of civic hackers, data wranglers, and everyday individuals enthusiastic about the fusion of technology and information for the greater good. Our focus is on creating things - whether that's apps, insights, or tools - and we have a strong commitment to open data and free/open source software. We operate as a collaborative community under the Open Knowledge Foundation, welcoming anyone to join our public GitHub repository. Our guiding principles — openness, positivity, action, insights, collaboration, and informality — shape how we function as a community.
