## Description

Okopa plc is a natural resources company focused on copper exploration and production in Namibia’s emerging Kaoko Copper Belt, in the Kunene Region. Its main asset is the Cornerstone Copper Project, held through Cornerstone Mining (Pty) Ltd. Okopa has an initial controlling 51% interest in the company, with an option to increase its stake to 70%. Cornerstone’s contiguous 6,214-hectare land package lies near Opuwo and provides the foundation for Okopa’s development plans.

The company is targeting near-term production from copper oxide resources while exploring for further oxide deposits and deeper sulphide mineralisation. Okopa describes its development approach as staged and capital-efficient, with a progressive funding strategy that includes royalty and production options. Its business is centred on advancing the Cornerstone project into a scalable copper operation and creating value for stakeholders through responsible resource development. The company also states that it focuses on sustainable development and alignment with international mining standards. Okopa is listed on AIM under the ticker OKO and provides corporate, project and investor information through its website.
