## Description

**Brand Description: Foothills Environmental Art**

Foothills Environmental Art, spearheaded by Alberta artist Wasan Jema, is dedicated to raising awareness about sustainability and the critical state of Alberta's water resources. Through innovative visual art, such as the impactful piece "Thirsting Land!", Jema invites the community to confront the stark realities of drought conditions affecting the region. This artwork not only serves as a striking visual reminder but also encourages public engagement in water conservation efforts.

Participating annually in the Nooks & Crannies Festival, Foothills Environmental Art transforms overlooked spaces with installations crafted from repurposed materials. Jema combines artistic expression with environmental advocacy, having previously highlighted issues such as plastic pollution in her works. The festival aims to inspire dialogues around ecological responsibility, empowering spectators to contribute ideas for conserving water and fostering a deeper connection with their environment. With a commitment to environmental education, this brand actively engages the community in meaningful conversations to promote sustainable practices for future generations.
