The Old Ottawa South Community Association (OSCA) is a dedicated group of community volunteers with a mission to create a vibrant and dynamic environment in Old Ottawa South (OOS). They offer a wide range of programs, services, and activities to engage and improve the lives of OOS residents. OSCA organizes social events to strengthen community bonds and foster connections among neighbors.

Their educational, sports, fitness, and recreational programming cater to residents of all ages, including after-school programs for working parents. Additionally, OSCA actively advocates for the community's interests in terms of planning and future development in and around OOS. Based at the Ottawa South Community Centre, OSCA conducts most of its programs, meetings, and the Annual General Meeting.

The association is managed by a dedicated board of volunteers and various committees, including those focused on programming, special events, zoning, development, and traffic issues. Residents are encouraged to express their interest in OSCA's activities and contribute to the association's decision-making process. The Annual General Meeting, held in May, provides an opportunity for community members to be heard and actively participate in shaping OSCA's initiatives
