## Description

Old School Ties (O.S.T.) is a digital recruitment marketplace connecting schools with prospective employees across Southern Africa. Its focus is especially on teachers, while also serving anyone seeking work in education. The platform brings together vacancies from state and independent schools and other education organisations, helping employers reach candidates through a professional, convenient website.

Job seekers can browse and search listings using filters for role, subject, location and institution type. Opportunities span classroom teaching and specialist subjects, school leadership, learning support, sports coaching, early childhood education and non-teaching positions such as administration, finance, operations, health and facilities. Listings cover locations throughout South Africa, as well as selected international destinations and Zambia.

For schools and education employers, O.S.T. offers a way to advertise vacancies and connect with potential staff. The website is its primary recruitment tool, supported by updates through the O.S.T. Facebook page and Twitter feed. With a stated weekly audience of more than 50,000 educators and interested individuals, Old School Ties aims to make education recruitment more accessible and bring schools and job seekers together in one place.
