## Description

Old South Custom Guitars is a Kentucky-based maker of hand-built electric guitars, creating made-to-order instruments for players seeking a sound and style that reflect their music. The company offers five base models: the Ragin’ Appalachian T-style, Tejas S-style, Appalachian Hybrid, and the semi-hollow Big Block and Small Block. Their designs draw on familiar guitar forms while offering features such as hand-wound pickups, vintage-spec hardware, tremolo or hardtail configurations, and lightweight chambered bodies. Options vary by model and may include different pickup types, scale lengths, and hardware.

Customers can personalize their guitars with a broad choice of woods, colors, and finishes, from glossy lacquer and matte surfaces to carefully aged, distressed looks. The company also welcomes requests for distinctive custom details, aiming to match each player’s aesthetic and preferences. Old South notes more than 15 years of custom-building experience and offers ready-made instruments as well as custom orders; premade guitars ship quickly, while custom builds are shipped when complete.
