## Description

Hanácký národopisný soubor Olešnica is a folk ensemble and association based in Doloplazy near Olomouc, Czech Republic. Founded in 1969, it preserves and presents the traditions of Haná through regional songs, dances, customs, costumes, and live music. The association has three parts: the adult ensemble Olešnica, the children’s group Malá Olešnica, and the folk music group Hanácká muzika Jana Malíčka. Together, they perform at festivals and events in the Czech Republic and abroad, offering programs that range from five minutes to two hours. Performances can feature adults, children, live music, themed sets, or individual dances, and can be tailored for celebrations, festivals, anniversaries, balls, and corporate events. Olešnica also organizes community traditions, including a Hanácký bál, a carnival celebration, and the annual Jízda králů in Doloplazy, held on the first weekend of July. This procession with a king and his entourage of horsemen includes guest ensembles and a concert, bringing Haná’s cultural heritage to local audiences and visitors.
