## Description

Tyler Olson, operating through Olson Consulting LLC, provides financial planning and education for physicians who want their money decisions to support their quality of life. The practice helps clients bring investments, taxes, debt, savings, and retirement goals together in a personalized financial plan, with guidance shaped around each person’s circumstances and priorities.

Services include ongoing, year-round financial planning, a comprehensive plan for attending physicians, and one-time planning sessions for specific questions. Planning topics may include cash flow, debt repayment, college savings, retirement and investing, insurance, contract terms, benefits, and taxes. The comprehensive planning process typically takes about four months, though timing can vary.

For physicians seeking financial education, Tyler also offers Advice Residency, a class featuring more than 25 video lessons designed for residents, alongside post-match education and webinars. A Good Problem to Have is a weekly podcast about physicians’ financial lives, and the site shares additional resources, including a curated library of helpful tweets.
