## Description

SV Olympia Uelsen e.V. is a community sports club in Uelsen, Germany, founded in 1909 as a football club. With more than 1,500 members, it now offers sporting activities and community events for people of different ages and abilities. Its motto, “Active against stagnation,” reflects a broad programme that welcomes both active participants and supporters, from children to older adults and across recreational and competitive levels.

The club’s sports include football, volleyball, handball, boules, athletics, gymnastics, aerobics, children’s dance and fitness, running, cycling, rambling, and Völkerball. Activities take place at the club’s sports park on Höcklenkamper Straße, in Uelsen’s two sports halls, and along the scenic Pickmäijerroute. The sports park includes four football pitches, a small artificial-turf field, a practice area, beach-volleyball and basketball courts, athletics facilities, and a boules ground. An Olympia Café serves as a focal point for the site. Alongside its regular sports programme, the club shares news about teams, events, membership, and community life.
