## Description

The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) is the organisation dedicated to developing, promoting and protecting Olympism and the Olympic Movement in Australia, in accordance with the Olympic Charter. It provides the foundation for the Australian Olympic Team and works to create world-class Games-time performance environments for athletes. Through its TeamAUS platform, the AOC shares Olympic news, stories and information about Australian athletes and sports. Its community programs extend the Olympic spirit beyond competition: Olympics Unleashed brings Olympians and aspiring athletes into schools, in person and online, to inspire students, while the Australian Olympic Change-Maker program recognises secondary students and connects them through shared ideas and Olympic experiences. TeamAUS Olympic Schools provides curriculum-aligned teaching resources on Olympic values, and the #HaveAGo Olympic Challenge encourages participation at home and in classrooms. The AOC also invites tax-deductible donations to support aspiring Australian Olympians. Its Reconciliation Action Plan and public commitments recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and contributions to Australian sport and society.
