## Description

Omada is a community and small group of individuals that has hosted free and open-source online services since 2021. Guided by principles of freedom, privacy, and security, it aims to provide alternatives to services that rely on tracking, advertising, data mining, or data brokerage. Omada says it has operated for more than five years, offers over ten services, and has sold no user data.

Its offerings include zero-log, ad-blocking DNS; private email and search; an end-to-end encrypted collaborative office suite; and tools for software version control, documentation, and team messaging. Users can also access privacy-focused frontends for YouTube and Reddit, decentralized social networking and video-sharing platforms, Matrix communication, IRC, and encrypted voice chat. Omada additionally lists a gaming division, Amethystia, and RainOS, described as a secure, user-friendly operating system. The community communicates through Signal and maintains spaces on IRC, Mattermost, Matrix, and Discord. Omada provides account access and invites contributions to its open-source code, licensed under AGPLv3.
