The founder, Melanie O'Malley, hails from the 518 area, growing up in Columbia County and residing in Albany/Troy since 2003. With a family background in creativity and building, and a theater background of her own, Melanie discovered her artistic outlet in the world of baking. Frustrated by the lack of satisfying gluten-free options available, she began crafting delicate and delectable desserts for her own family.

In 2013, O'Malley's Oven was born. Alongside our diverse dessert offerings, we also provide a range of savory hand pies and bake-at-home flour blends. Drawing inspiration from her rural and bartending experiences, Melanie embraces new gluten-free challenges from both her loved ones and her valued customers.
